Jennifer Curts

Jennifer Curt, soprano, and a dramatic lyric soloist and oboist, has an extraordinary way of cutting straight to the core of her listeners’ emotions. Described as a vocal chameleon, she has performed as a soloist and as a member of ensembles throughout Michigan. These include the Michigan Chorale, Flint Symphony Chorus, Cantata Academy Chorale, Kearsley Park Players, Flint Light Opera, Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble, as well as numerous churches. She has studied privately under the guidance of Ms. Nada Radakovich and Mr. Michael Emshwiller.

Jocelyn Urmanic

Jocelyn Urmanic, mezzo-soprano, is a versatile singer, performing both pop and contemporary Christian music. She has performed in various groups, including “Joz & Tom”, “Turning Point”, and “4Him”. She has been a member of various area choruses, including the Flint Symphony Chorus and has been a soloist at churches throughout the Flint area. Currently, at United Methodist Church in Davison, she serves as a soloist, liturgist, worship leader, and certified lay servant. This is her first opportunity to sing as a soloist for Handel’s Messiah.

Robert Nickora

Robert Nickora, tenor, began singing at an early age. He was a student of Samuel Adams, Dr. Delbert Simon, and Dr. Joyce Zastrow. As a soloist he has sung Bach’s “St. John’s Passion”, Mozart’s “Requiem”, Beethoven’s “Mass in C”, Haydn’s “Creation”, and other classical works. He was a staff choir member and soloist at Kirk in the Hills, and First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham for over 15 years. For the past 20 years, Mr. Nickora has worked as producer, compiler, writer, advisor and programmer for record companies in England, Australia, and the U.S.

Paul Cote

Paul Cote’, bass, began his vocal journey as a choir boy in Detroit and continued in choirs through high school and college at the Univ. of Detroit, and Univ. of Mich. During his career as a General Electric engineer, he sang in church and community choral groups. The opportunity to sing with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus under Robert Shaw was the highlight of his singing career. His best memories include traveling with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus through England and Wales. Paul has been a member of LCCC for 18 years.
